Last year, visited London. It was really an amazing trip. To me, this is the first time fly for more than 10 hours, land on Europe, and just for fun. It was really an unforgettable journey.
Picking the destination to London was because the air ticket price was quite low at that moment, though the exchange rate from HKD to GBP was quite high at that time. And lucky that there was a subsidy on accommodation. That really lowered the whole expenses for the journey.
It was a 8 days trip. Visited a lot of attraction point inside London city, Windsor, Bath and Salsbury. Windsor, Bath and Salsbury are all a but far away from the City. Trains or buses are required to get there. Of course, trains are more faster than buses.
London is a real old city. Comparing to Hong Kong, it is very familiarized. The road, the traffic system, the size. At the time I was walking in the City, I figured out why Hong Kong was configured in that way with small streets. I think at the time Hong Kong was still a British colony, British were applying the same urban planning model to Hong Kong. Actually, the size of British people is not big. Their sizes are more or less the same as Chinese. Thus, with such consideration, urban planning, roads systems and others plannings were quite suitable for people living there.
